About the business

Rainman Desalination (www.rainmandesal.com) is a young and growing manufacturing company in Brookvale. We make portable desalination equipment for boats and remote locations. Our factory has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and we are looking for new people to join our team.

About the role

We are looking for full time technically minded assembly technicians, although we can be flexible with hours, and will accommodate casual or part time workers too if they are the right fit.

• Bench top assembly of portable desalination systems and accessories using hand and power tools.
• Bench top assembly of small wiring harnesses for Rainman control systems using delicate hand tools.
• Part picking and assembling of various internal subassemblies.
• Basic warehouse duties.
• Adhere to factory safety rules.
• Testing of finished Rainman systems and identifying the faults.

• Capable of working with limited guidance

Skills and experience

• Hands on experience in light assembly work is desirable.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Mechanical aptitude
• Capability to learn production processes.
• Comfortable moving and packing 20 - 30kg assembled systems.
• Familiarity with medium / high pressure hydraulic / water plumbing is desirable.
• Should have the right to live and work in Australia.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual.

Salary: $30.00 to $42.00 /hour.

Work visa may be an option for the right candidate.
