Casual Administrative Support – Purchasing & Inventory
Location: Tomago, NSW
Casual Rate: $43.75 per hour
About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Support – Purchasing & Inventory to assist our Supply team with day-to-day purchasing and inventory tasks. This role is administrative-focused and does not require formal procurement or purchasing qualifications—perfect for someone with strong admin skills who enjoys working with systems, suppliers, and stock management.
What You’ll Do:
- Raise, approve, and follow up on purchase orders.
- Reconcile invoices in Oracle (JDE) and resolve any mismatches.
- Assist with warehouse stock management, including stock counts and audits.
- Communicate with suppliers across different industries to track orders and resolve queries.
- Manage vendor-managed consumables and process stock returns/transfers.
- Monitor and respond to requests in the Underground Requisitions mailbox.
- Provide general administrative support to the Supply team and assist with various tasks as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong administrative skills and experience in an office environment.
- Attention to detail and the ability to keep things organised.
- Comfortable working with purchasing systems (Oracle JDE experience is a plus, but not required).
- A team player who can communicate effectively with internal teams and suppliers.
- No formal purchasing/procurement qualifications are required—this is an admin-heavy role.
