Salary: $75.00 per hour plus super (negotiable based on experience)

Security Clearance: Australian Citizen required for security clearance

Job Summary:
Aircraft Maintenance Services Australia is seeking experienced Avionics, Structures, and AME Technicians for multiple positions on a 6-12 month contract at Amberley, Brisbane location. There is potential for contract extension or transition to a full-time role. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with a background in defence or aviation. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and modifications on the Wedgetail 737 AEW&C aircraft in accordance with the Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE).
• Ensure all activities are completed according to approved processes and procedures.
• Undertake a variety of trade-level activities, applying post-trade qualifications and relevant experience, following planning documents and engineering drawings.
• Conduct Aircraft Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) services, including modifications, manufacturing, and assembly tasks for aircraft and components.

Essential Qualifications:

• Aviation Cert IV in Mechanical Trade (or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of Aviation Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and the DASR 145 Aircraft Maintenance regulatory framework.
• Ability to meet the security requirements of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
• Valid C Class driver’s license.
