About the Role
The Scheduling Officer will provide support and administrative functions to the Scheduling and Works Preparation teams. The role exists to consolidate administrative tasks from Works Preparation and Scheduling ensuring that they have full capacity to deliver work packages scheduled to Operations Delivery. The MRO will consolidate and check that all work packages and associated tasks are complete and ready for delivery for handover to depots.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare job folders, ready for handover to depots
- Create Electronic job folders for Works Preparation Team and Depot personnel
- Ensure all bookings for traffic management and/or other external services for planned works are complete and information pertaining to these bookings is in job folders at time of handover
- Complete quality control checks on work packages submitted to Works Preparation
- Assist in the preparation and administration of customer notifications
- Raise requisitions for goods and services
- Receipting of invoices
- Creation and maintenance of purchasing blanket orders
Skills and Experience Required
- Attention to detail.
- Able to work in a fast paced office environment and deal with constant interruption – people, phone, email and deal with conflicting/changing deadlines
- Excel experience moderate
- C class driver’s license
