About the role

Interglo Lighting is seeking a talented Lighting Designer to join our team in Dandenong South, Victoria. As a full-time Lighting Designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative and functional lighting solutions for our clients across a range of commercial projects. With a focus on the latest lighting technology and design trends, you will play a key role in shaping the visual identity of the spaces we work with.

What you'll be doing

• Collaborating with clients to understand their vision and requirements for lighting design
• Analysing project specifications to inform your lighting designs
• Preparing detailed lighting plans, specifications and renderings to communicate your design concepts
• Selecting appropriate lighting fixtures, lamps and control systems to meet the project objectives
• Coordinating with other design professionals, builders and trades to ensure seamless integration of the lighting solutions
• Providing technical support and guidance to the project team
• Staying up-to-date with the latest lighting technologies, energy-efficient solutions and industry trends

What we're looking for

• Proficiency in the use of Dialux, or AGI32 Software
• Experience as a Lighting Designer / Planner preferably in a commercial design environment
• Strong technical knowledge of lighting systems, including lamps, luminaires, controls and energy efficiency
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to liaise with clients and stakeholders
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across multiple projects
• Passion for innovative lighting design and a commitment to staying up-to-date with industry trends
