The Role
We are looking for an Estimator with a strong technical background in Security Systems or Data Cabling to support the current business growth. This role will play a key part in delivering tailored security solutions across a number of sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tender & Scope Preparation – Develop detailed project tenders and quotations based on customer specifications and sales feedback.
• System Design – Create preliminary system layouts and equipment schedules to support accurate cost estimates.
• Stakeholder Engagement – Communicate with Project Manager and other internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
• Supplier Coordination – Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best pricing and document agreements to support bid submissions.
• Technical Support – Provide business in understanding system capabilities and pricing strategies.
• Site Assessments – Conduct regular site visits when required to gain information on project information and progress.
• Business Growth – Identify opportunities to improve processes and support the expansion of new business areas

Skills & Experience

• Strong technical knowledge of security systems and/or data cabling.
• Experience in identifying and managing commercial risks within contracts.
• Understanding of cable runs and labour costs/ allocations.
• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
