Gardner Design & Drafting is an Architectural Design company based in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney.
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to fill a unique, hybrid role encompassing Personal Assistant duties, Systems Champion responsibilities, and Social Media Content Creation. This is a part-time opportunity (2 x 8hrs/week or 3 x 6hrs/week) at our Westfield Eastgardens office. This role will report and work directly with the Director
About the Role
We are looking for a creative and organised person with excellent attention to detail. This multifaceted role offers the opportunity to work with our team, learn and build your skillset, and grow within the company. We offer a relaxed atmosphere and a collaborative team environment.
Personal Assistant Responsibilities
- Manage bookings and scheduling for the Director.
- Answer and manage office phone calls and emails.
- Provide general administrative support as needed.
Social Media Content Creator Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Curation: Develop engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, and other platforms.
- Campaign Management: Plan and manage social media campaigns.
- Community Engagement: Respond to comments and messages promptly.
- Liaise with the Marketing team to create website content and blogs.
- Visit local projects to capture photo/video content.
Systems Champion Responsibilities
- Create, manage, and update systems across all company departments.
- Implement SYSTEMology to document and optimize critical business systems.
- Collaborate with the Director to identify system documentation priorities.
- Lead the team in creating systems from various sources.
- Ensure all team members follow implemented systems.
- Teach and guide team members on system documentation and organisation
Skills Required
- Experienced with social media management and digital marketing tools.
- Strong copywriting and content creation skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent understanding of the English language and grammar.
- Excellent communication skills (visual, written, and verbal).
- Tech-savvy and able to learn new software quickly.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and organized.
- Project management experience is desirable.
- Teachable and coachable.
- Ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and high pressure.

Requirements
- Own car is required for the Sydney-based role (travel to project sites).
