About the Role

As a General Practice Nurse at Signal Health, you will be an essential member of our clinical team. You will collaborate closely with doctors and allied health professionals to:

• Provide comprehensive nursing assessments and patient triage
• Assist with minor procedures, immunisations, and wound management
• Support chronic disease management, including patient education and care planning
• Maintain accurate clinical records
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and help develop clinical protocols

🔹 Employment

• Hours: 15–30 hours per week. Ideally available for 9:00am–3:00pm on Tuesdays, Wednesday afternoons, and Fridays at our newly renovated Tusmore Practice. We are flexible and happy to discuss alternative schedules that suit your needs. If you are seeking more hours, you can also take on additional shifts at our Newton Practice. As our team at Tusmore grows, more hours will also become available.
• Employment Type: Begins as a casual position during a probationary period, with the opportunity to transition to permanent.

🔹 What We’re Looking For

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
• Strong clinical assessment skills and a keen understanding of general practice settings
• Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills when working with patients and colleagues
• Ability to remain calm, organised, and efficient in a dynamic environment
• Openness to embracing new technologies and software (training provided)
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset, always seeking ways to enhance patient experiences
• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and confidently manage your day
• A reliable team player with a strong work ethic and flexibility
