About the role

Geelong Veins Skin & Laser is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our dynamic general practice team on a casual or Part Time basis. Based in Geelong, VIC, this role will provide you with the opportunity to utilise your nursing skills in a supportive and patient-focused environment.

What you'll be doing

• Providing high-quality nursing care to patients, including conducting health assessments, administering medications, and assisting with minor procedures
• Supporting the general practitioners with clinical tasks and ensuring the smooth running of the practice
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards
• Collaborating with the wider healthcare team to deliver the best possible outcomes for patients

What we're looking for

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
• Experience working in a general practice, skin cancer nursing and or cosmetic nursing. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
• Strong clinical skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
• Proficiency in using medical software and electronic patient records
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and the ability to adapt to a changing healthcare environment
