What we require of you for Long Day Care and Kindergarten:

• An ACECQA approved Certificate III, or Diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Previous experience in the long day care sector, working across multiple age groups is highly regarded.
• Working knowledge of the Early Year’s Learning Framework, Queensland Kindergarten Guidelines, National Quality Framework and National Law and Regulations
• View children as capable and competent learners, with an understanding of contemporary early childhood practices
• A commitment to learning and professional development
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Have skills to priorities and manage work tasks efficiently and effectively
• Current valid Blue Card, Police Check, First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, Asthma and Child Protection Training
• Travel the minimum of 15km from your home address.

Tasks & responsibilities for Kindergarten and Long Day Care:

• Knowledge or experience in the education sector is highly regarded for Kindergarten and Long Day Care.
• Engaging and Supervising the children at all times.
• Actively contributing to the education program in the room and centre team
• Maintaining a safe environment for children, families and team members.
• Communicating positively with families, children and educators
• Positively guiding children's behaviour
• Creating positive learning environments and participating positively in children's play
• Contributing to a safe, healthy and hygienic learning environment
• Providing positive routines and transitions

What we require of you for Outside School Hours Care (OSHC)

• Current valid Blue Card, Police Check for your State or National Police Check and Child Protection Training.
• A commitment to learning and professional development
• Have skills to priorities and manage work tasks efficiently and effectively
• Travel the minimum of 15km from your home address.

Tasks and responsibilities for Outside School Hours Care (OSHC):

• Actively provide a safe, secure environment for children
• Interacting and engaging with children to create an inviting, caring and safe environment
• Providing learning opportunities for children through intentional teaching methods while encouraging spontaneous learning
• Contributing to the curriculum My Time Our Place by evaluating children’s interactions during play
• Working collaboratively to implement an educational program for children
• Greeting families and effectively communicating with children and parents
• Provide quality care to meet the needs of all children attending
• Assist the team by providing recreational activities to meet the needs and interests of all children
