About the role

STH Piling PTY LTD is seeking an experienced Concreter/ Steel fixer to join our team based in Dandenong South, Victoria. This is a full-time position, where you will play a crucial role in the construction and maintenance of concrete structures, Basements in particular.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and pouring concrete for Capping beams, slabs, walls, and other structures
• Finishing concrete surfaces by smoothing, levelling, and applying textures
• Assisting in the installation of reinforcement such as ligs, bars and mesh
• Reading and interpreting plans, and specifications
• Collaborating with the construction team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the required standards
• Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Concreter/ Steel fixer in a similar construction role
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
• Hold a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Any experience in basements an advantage
• Ability to work within a team, and also to lead a team if required
