We are looking for you to join our Cairns team as an NDIS Coordinator.
Reporting to the Site & Service Delivery Manager, as an NDIS Coordinator, you will be at the heart of our mission to create personalised support delivery that transform lives. You will work closely with participants, their families, and service providers to coordinate their supports to enhance each individual’s independence and well-being.

About your role:
• Building strong relationships with participants and their families through excellent customer service.
• Ensuring adherence to industry standards, regulations, and best practices in Child Safety and NDIS.
• Support a team of staff members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment, providing ongoing support and guidance to the team.
• Performing the rostering function for your Team, ensuring there is an appropriate shift rostered to meet the requirements of a participant’s service request and an appropriate team-mate matched and scheduled for the shift
• Identifying training gaps and ensure appropriate training is provided for the team
• Completing on-call requirements as per the rotating roster (nominally 1 in 4).
About you.
• Demonstrated passion and experience in Disability Supports and participants.
• Qualifications relevant to the Disability sector (either current or willing to obtain)
• Previous experience within a NDIS coordination role or similar.
• Strong experience in the coordination of people under the NDIS sector.
• Demonstrated management leadership capacity, including staff supervision and performance management.
• Demonstrated superior skills in mediation and negotiation, collaboration and consultation with key stakeholders.
• High-level knowledge and understanding of the policy, procedures and standards pertaining to the provision of disability services.

• Excellent communication, organisational, conflict-resolution and time-management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to problem solve within high-pressured situations
• Ability to multitask and prioritise workload
• Have the ability to obtain: Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
