About the Opportunity

As part of the Finance and Procurement team the Accounts Receivable Officer will provide support and the delivery of a professional and efficient Accounts Receivable function.

In this role, you will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Operating and maintaining of the debtor’s ledger including, Licensing and other program debtors.
  • Processing and allocation of payments.
  • Reconciliation of debtor accounts
  • Following up of high value outstanding accounts to facilitate payment resolutions.
  • Administering support for customers assessed as experiencing financial hardship.
  • Liaising with our Collection Agency on appropriate recovery steps for referred delinquent debt.
  • Processing and responding to customer enquiries.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience in Accounts Receivable functions in a general office environment in a medium to large organisation.
  • Experience in identifying process improvement opportunities and potential cost efficiencies across a broad range of transactional services and business processes.
  • Experience in the operation of Pathway or other enterprise financial accounting systems.
  • Experience in contributing to the development and application of corporate projects and continuous improvement projects
  • Able to work accurately to agreed deadlines.
