Senior Financial Accountant – Legal Sector

Keypoint Law is looking for a dynamic Senior Financial Accountant, based in Sydney CBD. The role is a broad accounting role, focusing on managing the day-to-day operations of the department, cash flow management, and month-end reporting.

About the Role:

Reporting directly to our Head of Finance, this role involves:

• Providing expert guidance to the team for the timely and accurate delivery of services.
• Managing team workflows and workloads, offering coaching and development support as needed.
• Overseeing end-to-end payable, receivable, and trust functions.
• Cashflow management.
• Bank and Balance Sheet reconciliations.
• Assisting with preparation of the monthly management accounts.
• Assisting with BAS, Tax, Super, and FBT.
• Manage and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.

What will make you successful in this role?

• 5+ years Finance management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related disciplines.
• CPA or CA Qualifications desirable.
• Legal experience, with trust accounting, highly desirable.
• Experience leading and motivating a team in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritise and organise effectively.
• Ability to build a relationship of trust with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A right cultural fit.
