Corporate Senior Accountant

About the Company: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced senior Accountant ready to take the next step in the support office of a large privately owned company in the medical industry going through an exciting period of growth.
We are seeking a proactive, motivated team player, to join our small close-knit team as a Corporate Senior Accountant Your responsibilities will be broad, covering all facets of the finance function.
Your role will include, but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

• Run month end close/GL responsibility/intercompany etc
• Assist in preparation of monthly reports and annual report
• Coordination of annual audit
• Management of Accounts Payable/Receivable staff
• Statutory tax compliances
• Continuous improvement of financial processes

About You: Key to your success with this role will be your excellent attention to detail and not be afraid to use your initiative. In addition, you will also require the following:

• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Completed CA or CPA
• Ideally previous experience in a similar role with Big 4/Second Tier experience (3+ years post qualifications)
• Experience with large ERP, MYOB Advanced
• Experience in a service-based industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to work within a team environment
