Our client is a leading mining business, providing critical solutions to the resources sector. With a strong focus on innovation and efficiency, they are seeking a Financial Analyst on a contract basis to support strategic decision-making through the implementation of an Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) software.

The Role

As the Financial Analyst, you will play a critical part of a project focused on enhancing financial planning and reporting processes with the implementation of an Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) software. Reporting directly to the CFO this role will include, but not be limited to:-

• Build and maintain financial models in EPM tools for financial planning, and reporting processes.
• Automate and improve financial reporting processes using an EPM.
• Develop multidimensional models to support financial planning.
• Collaborate with the business to understand planning needs and drive improvements.
• Liaise with stakeholders in the business to understand requirements; manage expectations and provide insights for decision-making.

Skills and Experience

• Self-starter, problem solver, and the ability to work autonomously
• Experience in financial modeling
• Hands-on EPM tool expertise - e.g. Hyperion, Jedox, Cognos, etc.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to interpret financial data
