Senior Finance Analyst

• NSW Government - 6 Months contract with a potential extension
• $70.55 per hour + super
• Parramatta + WFH (3x days)

Responsibilities:
✔ Develop integrated revenue and expense analyses, projections, and reports
✔ Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
✔ Ensure accurate financial recording and reporting
✔ Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and present insights to senior management
✔ Perform financial forecasting and internal account reconciliations
✔ Contribute to strategic planning, relying on your expertise and judgment
✔ Lead and direct the work of others as required

Requirement for this role:
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
✔ 4-7 years of relevant experience in financial analysis
✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
✔ Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex financial tasks
✔ Great communication skills to present insights to senior leadership
✔ Familiarity with industry best practices, financial systems, and reporting standards
✔ A proactive and adaptable mindset – a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
