Our client is a national mining and civil services business providing turnkey solutions across the Hunter Valley and QLD. This includes services such as Civil projects, Land & rehabilitation, Coal recovery, Contract crushing, Equipment operations and Equipment maintenance.

With a head office based in Newcastle and a purpose built workshop based in the Hunter Valley, we are looking for a Workshop Supervisor to join a long standing maintenance leadership team to lead and manage the workshop.

The Role

• Managing and provide technical guidance to a team of plant mechanics + apprentices
• Monitor and oversee day-to-day maintenance requirements
• Coordinate allocation of resources and equipment in workshop and field service
• Monitor workshop performance metrics such as turn around times and implement improvements
• Leadership, conflict management and the ability to delegate tasks
