Maxima's Recruitment Services are seeking a Qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join their client, Logan City Council for an initial 6-month contract based in Marsden.

Immediate start available with an hourly rate negotiable depending on skill set - $47-$50 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service, maintain and repair fleet vehicles, plant, trucks and miscellaneous equipment.
• Fault finding and brake testing
• Provide apprentices with on the job training
• Carry out minor body repairs including fabrication, welding and spray painting where required

About You:

• Current C class license - HR license advantageous
• Certified Diesel Mechanic or Mechanical Fitter
• White Card or willing to obtain within 3 months of commencing
• Experience working on small, medium and heavy vehicles
• Available for an immediate start
