About The Role
Join a growing and well-established business in Sumner, QLD as a Diesel Fitter/Mechanic. If you’re a qualified Diesel Mechanic with a passion for maintaining and repairing heavy vehicles, trailers, and equipment, this is the perfect role for you!

Skills And Experience

• Qualified Diesel Mechanic with a Trade Certificate
• Minimum 3 years' experience with heavy trucks, trailers, and other equipment
• Strong knowledge of workshop and transport operations
• Good record-keeping and communication skills
• Basic computer skills and a proactive attitude
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations

Duties

• Perform scheduled servicing, repairs, and maintenance on heavy vehicles and equipment
• Conduct detailed inspections and preventive maintenance
• Keep accurate service records and perform minor fabrication tasks
• Attend breakdowns when required
• Assist with the implementation of the company’s Quality Management System
