About the roles:
- Corporate role: unregulated mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, ECM, restructuring and corporate advisory matters and general commercial law. You will also be involved in regulatory matters involving the Corporations Act, ASX Listing Rules, and FIRB.
- Energy role: drafting and negotiating key contracts underpinning power, oil and gas projects, including power purchase agreements, gas and LNG supply contracts, joint operating agreements, gas transportation agreements and network access contracts (SWIS and NWIS); acting on both onshore and offshore energy projects.
The ideal candidates:
- 4-6 years PQE with demonstrated experience in Corporate M&A (ECM experience highly regarded but not essential) and/or Energy Projects from a recognised law firm or company (for in-house candidates).
- Strong technical skills in drafting and negotiating transactional documents.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on quality.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and work in a very collaborative team.
