The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Advanced WAG Coach to work with our Levels 7 & 8 gymnasts in a part-time position (up to 25 hours per week). You will:

• Coach competitive WAG gymnasts in Levels 7 & 8, focusing on skill progression, strength, and competition preparation
• Develop and implement structured training plans aligned with Athleta Gymnastics' coaching policies and standards
• Create a positive and motivating environment for gymnasts to flourish and achieve their goals
• Work within our strong team culture, collaborating with other experienced coaches
• Ensure all coaching activities prioritise athlete well-being, safety, and positive development
• Attend competitions as part of the role, supporting gymnasts in their competitive journey

Requirements

• Advanced WAG Accreditation (High-Performance Accreditation highly regarded)
• Current Gymnastics Australia Technical Membership
• Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• First Aid & CPR Certification
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Commitment to child safety policies and ethical coaching practices
• Availability to attend competitions
