Our client is a successful fast growing Indigenous contractor within Central Queensland. We have a strong focus on Mining Rehabilitation, Civil works and Mine Services.

As a Spray Technician, you will ensure the safe and effective application of chemicals, complying with all safety protocols and environmental regulations.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a sharp eye for detail, and takes pride in delivering high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilisers to designated areas.
- Apply chemicals for weed control and eradication.
- Operate and maintain spray equipment following safety standards
- Keep accurate records of chemical applications and ensure compliance with local regulations
- Identify and report weed infestations.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of team members, and the public during the application of chemicals.

- 7/7 DS only Roster - 12.5hr shifts
- Full time permanent position with Black Coal entitlements
- Thursday - Wednesday roster + early finish on last shift
- Small crew with great culture and high retention.
- Initial 12 month duration
- Preference will be for Blackwater based person, however, DIDO will be considered.
- Ongoing safety training programs and resources are available.
About You
- Valid certification in chemical application (ACDC Licence)
- Previous experience in a similar role or landscape maintenance is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical fitness to handle outdoor work and equipment
- Excellent time management and communication skills
