Portable Service Technician
A Technician is required to conduct firefighting equipment servicing duties. You will report directly to the Operations Manager and service team who will set your tasks. You will ensure all servicing and testing is completed in accordance with company policy and Australian Standards and always upholds the highest standard of customer service.

A sound understanding of service delivery and the importance of meeting service delivery expectations.
Your key areas of accountability will be:
- Liaising with clients and co-workers.
- Service and maintain portable fire equipment.
- Service fire hydrant systems.
- Service exit and emergency lights.
- Delivery and installation emergency evacuation diagrams, plans and evacuation practice letter box drops.
- Sales enquiries if required for compliance.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and on time delivery.
- Work within project time frames and budgets.
Skills and Requirements:
- Compliance with relevant business laws and regulations.
- Must be able to communicate with other technicians and potential customers.
- QBCC licence to be kept up to date at ALL times.
- Working with children blue card.
- Ordinary working hours 6am – 6pm
- Work hours (Mon-Fri 8am to 4pm) 8 hours
- 38 hour working week.
- Current Queensland Driver’s License – manual.
- Legible handwriting.
- High level of technology literacy.
- Must be honest and reliable.
It is essential that you possess advanced interpersonal and customer service skills, as you will be liaising with technicians, clients, subcontractors and suppliers on a daily basis.
