Essential Skills & Responsibilities:

• Administer muscle, nerve, joint, and functional ability tests to assess patients’ physical issues.
• Design and implement individualised treatment programs to address patients’ needs.
• Treat patients to reduce pain, improve circulation, strengthen muscles, enhance cardiovascular and respiratory functions, and restore mobility and coordination.
• Utilise therapeutic techniques such as exercise, heat, cold, massage, and mobilisations in patient care.
• Continuously review, assess, and adjust treatment programs to ensure optimal results.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on procedures to continue at home for ongoing recovery.
• Maintain detailed records of treatments provided and track patient progress.
• Develop and implement preventative health promotion and screening programs.

What We’re Looking For:

• A Physiotherapy degree and a current AHPRA registration.
• A team-oriented mindset with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Expertise in physical assessments and designing personalised treatment plans.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A passion for promoting health and wellness, and pride in representing Illawarra Physiotherapy.
