Based in Wondecla on the Atherton Tablelands, you’ll keep our cutting-edge fleet running smoothly, powering civil projects across regional and remote Queensland.

About the Role
As Maintenance Manager, you’ll oversee the servicing and repair of our graders, excavators, stabilizers, and more, ensuring they’re ready to tackle RCG’s high-profile projects. Leading a dedicated workshop team, you’ll drive preventative maintenance, manage budgets, and uphold our ISO-certified standards for safety, quality and environment.

What You’ll Do

• Manage maintenance and repairs for our heavy machinery fleet
• Develop preventative maintenance plans to maximize uptime
• Lead and mentor our workshop crew to deliver top results
• Keep maintenance costs in check while ensuring equipment reliability
• Support project teams with on-site technical expertise when needed

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in maintenance management, ideally in civil construction or heavy industry
• Trade background (e.g., Diesel Mechanic) with strong technical know-how
• Proven leadership skills and a hands-on approach to problem-solving
• Sound understanding of fleet management and safety compliance
• Ready to thrive in FNQ’s regional work environment
