About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licenced Conveyancer to join our dynamic team at Dott & Crossitt in Bella Vista, NSW. As a Licenced Conveyancer, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the smooth transfer of property ownership, ensuring our clients' real estate transactions are handled with the utmost professionalism and attention to detail.
What you'll be doing
- Provide advice to clients on legal matters related to property transactions and ensure all legal requirements and obligations are met
- Preparing and reviewing all necessary legal documents, including contracts, transfer forms and settlement statements
- Liaising with clients, real estate agents and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient completion of property transactions
- Providing expert advice and guidance to clients throughout the conveyancing process
- Ensure compliance with the latest laws, regulations and industry best practices related to property conveyancing
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with relevant legislation and company procedures
- Manage multiple tasks and matters simultaneously, with attention to detail
What we're looking for
- A current NSW Conveyancer's Licence
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Licenced Conveyancer in NSW
- Experience in conveyancing transactions in other states would be highly regarded, but not essential
- Proven experience in conveyancing, with a solid track record of managing a diverse caseload of residential property transactions
- Strong understanding of property law, regulations, and conveyancing procedures
- The ability to explain complex legal terms to clients in an easily understandable manner
You will also have
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in your work
- Proficient in the use of relevant conveyancing software and technology, TriConvey/Smokeball desirable
- A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills
