The Role
Business Development
- Manage enquiries from new leads and prospects, identifying HR and recruitment needs.
- Working remotely with prospects, use developed sales processes and tools to match Employee Matters’ services with their needs.
- Continuously suggest improvements to sales strategies, processes and tools.
- Develop customised proposals for prospects based on Employee Matters’ pricing and products.
- Record sales and proposals in our CRM, ensuring smooth service delivery and client understanding
- Expand Employee Matters’ presence through networking, partnerships and generating new leads.
Client Service
- Build and develop rapport with prospects to ensure smooth transition from sales to onboarding.
- Collaborate with Employee Matters Experts/Account Managers to enhance client relationships and drive further sales.
- Manage client referrals and secure testimonials/reviews.
- Support client projects as directed by the General Manager
Team/Individual Performance
- Actively engage with colleagues and share insights.
- Ensure timely completion of reports and assist the team as needed.
- Maintain performance in line with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Manage ad-hoc projects and duties as required.
Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in HR or Recruitment
- Tech-savvy across multiple platforms - we use HubSpot, Slack,Zoom, Google Workspace
- Strong influencing, coaching and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain trust with clients via calls, emails and video calls
- Proven experience as a genuine business partner to clients
- Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with excellent time management and administrative skills
- Comfortable working autonomously and remotely
