We are looking for a Lawyer or an Associate that wants to take the next step and work in a dynamic team of passionate construction and property lawyers that are at the top of their industry.
Construction Legal is a multi-award-winning boutique construction law firm. We pride ourselves with not only directly competing with the big law firms, but we offer our clients a service that is more practical, commercial and personable than the large firms.
Our clients range from developers, construction companies, government entities and infrastructure contractors.
As a Lawyer or Associate with 2 to 4 years’ experience working in construction law, you will be working with experienced Senior Associates who enable a level of autonomy not seen in larger firms, all whilst carefully guiding and mentoring you.

- Mentor support from our Senior Associates, as well as our Principal Solicitor who has over 20 years of experience, including a decade at one of Australia's largest law firm

The work environment
You will be guided and supervised wherever needed, but also you will be encouraged to have carriage of your own matters, depending on your experience.
Our offices are modern, bright, open and overlook the beautiful Hyde Park in Sydney's CBD. Through our team of approximately 20 people, there is a close team environment where everyone supports each other, from both a technical and a culture perspective.
Skills and experience
Essentials:
- Minimum of 2+ years PQE
- Completed your law degree with strong academic results
- An ability to communicate, both in writing and orally, clearly and concisely
- Experience in construction law or property law
Ideally you will also have:
- High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
- A genuine passion for the construction and infrastructure industry
- A self-starter's attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team
