About the role
As the National Spare Parts and Logistics Manager at Headland Technology Pty Ltd, you will play a crucial role in growing the spare parts, inventory and distribution businesses as well as the team.

This full-time position is based in Rydalmere, NSW or in Burwood VIC and is responsible for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective management of the company's logistics operations.

What you'll be doing

Operational

• Manage the procurement, warehousing and distribution of the company's spare parts inventory to support field service operations.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimise inventory levels, reduce costs and improve supply chain efficiency.
• Work with OEM partners to ensure purchasing information is readily available.

Commercial

• Ensure pricing strategies are competitive.
• Work collaboratively with OEM's to maintain pricing to a level that ensures Headland's business model remains sustainable.

Team Development

• Build a high-performance team and culture through; recruitment, coaching, mentoring, motivation and inspiring leadership.

Client Experience

• Understand the needs of our clients and action opportunities to provide a better client experience.

Revenue Growth

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan inventory requirements.
• Analyse data and generate reports to monitor key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the company's spare parts and logistics operations.
• Developing strategic intent, investment planning and presenting this to the executive team with confidence and clarity.

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience in business development, start-ups or similar with scale-up know how.
• Strong customer facing skills.
• Extensive experience (8+ years) in spare parts and logistics management, preferably in the manufacturing, transport or logistics industries.
• Strong understanding of supply chain management principles, inventory control and distribution logistics.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proven experience in leading and managing a team of logistics professionals.
• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements.
• Growing our business by adopting tech savvy processes and leveraging new technology to achieve this.
• A proven track record of exceptional business development through strong negotiation skills that will drive competitive advantage.
