YOU:
People will describe you as an organisational wizard who enjoys the orderly nature of the warehouse so that everything is easy to locate. You have the time management skills so that you enjoy the at times busy nature of the warehouse and the multitasking that is required as you have it all organised and ready to go. You are meticulous and don’t let anything leave the warehouse that shouldn’t and ensure each customer gets exactly what they ordered. You have exceptional customer focus and thrive off customer satisfaction that they have received what they ordered before it is due to be received. While not directly customer focused you enjoy talking to customers as they collect their orders and build relationships with the various supply partners the business has. You don’t mind suggesting when things can be improved to make the warehouse a more productive place. You are efficient and use your initiative to ‘make things happen’. You are a responsible person, hardworking and enjoy working independently and in a team when it is required. You will put your hand up to help whenever required to help the team achieve its goals.

- Proven stores/warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment
- Forklift Licence and experience operating
- Manual handling up to 25kg will be required
- Good communication skills, initiative and attention to detail.
- Customer service focus
- Ability to work alone and in a team
- Understanding and adherence of Workplace Health and Safety requirements
- Computer literacy
- Be able to follow procedures and directions from business manager
- Current manual Drivers Licence

THE BUSINESS & ROLE:
FCP Solutions provides a comprehensive range of aftermarket industry leading engine consumable products which include filters, engine coolant and oils to a diverse customer base, from wholesale right through to retail from a variety of industries such as mining, civil, marine, agricultural, automotive and more. We supply products through multiple channels to our customers including a growing online customer base. Our aim is for our customers to experience service not traditionally found in larger multinational companies and combine this with industry best product knowledge and advice on the products we specialise in. This at times can be a challenging position as we don't stop until we have exhausted every avenue for our customers.
As the warehouse store person your role will involve but not limited to:
- Full time role
- Enthusiasm to meet and exceed customer needs and exceed service expectations.
- Accurately pick and pack orders from small to high volume
- Receiving, unloading, checking contents and signing for incoming deliveries of products
- Inputting supplier invoices into computer system ensuring accuracy and taking note of any discrepancies.
- Keeping stock neat and tidy.
- Consignment stock auditing and reordering
- Pallet stacking/sorting and strapping/wrapping pallets for dispatch
- Daily local delivery of orders and local pick ups
- Participate in stock take as required (usually once per year).
- Ensuring all work areas are kept clean and well organised.
- Assisting fellow team members when the need arises.
- Work with Business Manager to suggest any improvements that may be required in the warehouse.
Helpful Experience
- Stock control or purchasing experience
- Experience with engine consumables with an emphasis on filters, oil and coolant.
What’s NOT required or Expected
- Directly dealing with customers
- Business decision making
- Ton of experience just good work ethic
The hours of work for this position are Monday to Friday 8.30 to 5pm.
