Bulmer Farms has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our team.

We are a leading grower of premium quality salad leaf and brassica vegetables in the Lindenow Valley, East Gippsland. A locally owned Australian family business farming over 1700 acres, Bulmer Farms employs 120+ people to grow, harvest, pack and distribute large scale volumes of fresh produce for domestic and international markets.

About the Role
The Bulmer Farms Quality Assurance Supervisor plays a significant hands-on role in ensuring our production and distribution facility meets or exceeds all quality certifications, regulatory and customer requirements.

Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Management and maintenance of Quality Systems, including Freshcare, HACCP, GMP and relevant customer standards.
• Maintain current certifications.
• Conduct daily production inspections to ensure adherence to food quality specifications and safety regulations.
• Preparation of reports, documentation and regular data entry to meet customer, site and external audit requirements.
• Liaise with suppliers and customers to resolve any quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
• Promote a culture of food quality excellence, adherence to compliance and safety.

Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated performance in a Quality Assurance role in FMCG or similar industry
• Proven ability implementing systems and processes that safeguard achievement and ongoing maintenance of Quality Certifications
• Demonstrated time management, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Highly developed communication skills
• Proven ability to manage relationships with a range of internal and external customers in building effective partnerships with key stakeholders, particularly external third-party audit providers

A flexible approach to work hours, including some seasonal rostered weekend work, is essential to meet year-round harvest and operational requirements.
