Chief Digital Officer

For more than 70 years, Relationships Australia WA has provided relationship support services for individuals, couples, families and communities.

We’re looking for a Chief Digital Officer to lead our discovery and adoption of advances in technology to find new approaches and increase our impact on people and the community.

This is an opportunity to inject creativity, abstract problem solving and critical thinking into all aspects of our strategy, evolving our day to day use of, and shaping our approaches to exploring possibilities, with, data, technology and growth initiatives.

We’re looking for an executive who is comfortable with ambiguity and knows how to frame problems.

We’re looking for someone to:

• Establish a new digital function
• Lead multiple teams, including vendors and suppliers
• Lead all digital, data and technology work
• Steer organisation wide tech discussions around desirability, feasibility and viability
• Develop, deliver and evolve digital strategies
• Improve customer experience and commercial outcomes with digital
• Lead the setup and rollout of new software systems for client service delivery
• Establish a new discovery team to find growth opportunities
• Develop strategic partnerships with 3rd parties to build and test new ideas
• Manage technology spend and financial risks of discovery work transparently
• Shift attitudes around managing risk and governance with technology
• Foster a culture of creativity, experimentation, and collaboration

We’re looking for someone with experience in things like:

• Digital strategy, organisation transformation and internet era ways of working
• Leading and setting up multi-disciplinary digital teams
• Managing the discovery, delivery and support of software products or services
• Hypothesis testing, experimentation and evaluating prototypes to find value
• Human centred design and product discovery
• Facilitating workshops with complex, senior stakeholder groups
• Data and using data to inform decision making
