The Role

A wonderful opportunity has become available for an experienced leader to manage the day-to-day operations in our Millmerran Facility - Yallambee. You will be responsible for all operational aspects of the Residential Facility, ensuring that the best possible level of care is given to each resident. Through your expert people management skills you will support the staff to provide optimum levels of care, develop professional capabilities and enable quality living experiences. You will balance your manager responsibilities to maximize funding income, operate within budget parameters and ensure compliance and Aged Care standards are met.

About You

Reporting to the Residential Operations Manager you will be part of the McLean Care Sapphire Leadership Team (SLT). Working within a supported network with five (5) other facility managers. You will bring with you:

  • Minimum three (3) years' experience in Aged Care or Health industry
  • Experience in managing claims for aged care subsidies and funding
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate a workplace culture that exemplifies the McLean Care mission and values
  • Engaging leadership skills coupled with the ability to identify and retain talent
  • Naturally analytical mindset with a strength in applied problem-solving skills that lead to improved resident services
  • Competence in the preparation and management of operational budgets
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated experience of the effective provision of clinical leadership
  • Demonstrated success in highly regulated environment requiring compliance to government standards
  • An unrestricted driver’s license
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
