Rowell Logistics has been operating for the past 30 years. We are a family business that pride ourselves on our small tight knit team and culture. We are looking to expand our office with an experienced candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Data entry
- Accounts payable
- Processing of weekly payroll (up to 30 employees)
- Weekly bank reconciliations
- Using XERO and Microsoft 365, Excel Word Outlook etc
- Payroll, Workcover, Payroll Tax, LSL Accruals, Superannuation lodgements
- BAS (including Fuel Tax Credit) and IAS preparation and lodgement
- Debtor and Creditor maintenance
- Recording fleet maintenance schedule
- WHS system maintenance knowledge advantageous
- Troubleshooting software issues
Full time position, flexible hours.
The right candidate should have minimum of 3 years bookkeeping experience, preferably familiar with XERO and the ability to work independently. Understand the importance of systems and deadlines and have great attention to detail with good communications skills.

*RL endeavors to ensure loads are delivered on-time and to the correct destination. We understand that communication with suppliers is a crucial component of a successful business relationship. Therefore, all RL vehicles have fixed and mobile telephones enabling two forms of contact with the driver at all times. We maintain regular contact with our valued customers ensuring they are fully informed at all times. We are fastidious at ensuring all CODs and relevant paperwork (PODs / pallets) are complete and returned to our suppliers within the required timeframe.
