About us
At the Department of Treasury and Finance we work together to ensure South Australia is a thriving, prosperous state now and into the future.

Our culture is one that welcomes all and we embrace flexibility and embrace diversity. We believe people are our most valuable asset, so we work to support the skills, knowledge and capability of our staff.
As part of the 2023-24 State Budget, a $200 million Digital Investment Fund (DIF) was established to drive more strategic and targeted investment in digital initiatives across the South Australian public sector and provide the capacity to upgrade legacy ICT systems that present significant risk to the state. The Department of Treasury and Finance is building out the framework required to efficiently operate the Fund, in parallel with progressing the priority initiatives identified to date. A small, focussed team of specialist resources is being established within the department to establish and then operate and administer the Fund.

Your highly developed interpersonal and communication skills will enable you to effectively consult, negotiate and build working relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects and significant programs of work are delivered within scope and budget and meet key objectives as planned.
To be successful you will be:
- Experienced in undertaking assurance processes and reporting, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, standards, frameworks, and client requirements within digital/ICT project environments.
- Able to demonstrate high levels of discipline in the planning and prioritisation of project management and project assurance activities to ensure tight timelines are met across multiple and concurrent activities.
- Able to work under broad direction, apply a high degree of attention to detail and exercise significant levels of independent judgement in analysing and conceptualising problems, formulating and executing appropriate solutions, and negotiating successful outcomes.
- Experienced in providing high quality briefings, expert written advice and reports on critical programs and/or issues with recommendations for consideration by senior executives.
