About the Role

This role is responsible for the strategic management and administration of ICT contracts, ensuring compliance with government procurement frameworks. The position involves stakeholder engagement, contract negotiation, risk mitigation, and performance monitoring to drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate contract terms and manage the full contract lifecycle
• Ensure timely execution of contract deliverables and compliance with agreed terms
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to enhance contract performance
• Lead contract variations and change control processes
• Monitor supplier performance and oversee contract administration
• Provide strategic advice on procurement and contract management best practices

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in procurement and contract management within a government context
• Strong understanding of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules and PGPA Act
• Excellent organisational, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Experience in supplier performance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives

Negative Vetting Level 1 Security Clearance is a mandatory requirement for this position.
