About the Role:

Our Federal Government Client is seeking an experienced ICT Asset and Contract Lifecycle Manager to support, manage, and administer contracts for software and application services and products across the Department.

This role ensures compliance with policies, optimise asset use, and minimises costs while facilitating collaboration between internal teams and vendors to procure software and applications efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
As the ICT Asset and Contract Lifecycle Manager, you will:

• Develop and maintain ICT software asset management policies and procedures aligned with ICT Service Management best practices.
• Establish and maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses.
• Implement tools and technologies to automate asset management processes and enhance efficiency.
• Manage the full lifecycle of ICT software assets, from acquisition to decommissioning, ensuring compliance with internal protocols.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to validate asset data accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
• Track asset usage and performance metrics to optimise costs and drive efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to Procurement Frameworks and processes established by the Technology Category Manager.
• Collaborate with procurement, finance, and ICT teams to optimise procurement processes, negotiate vendor contracts, and ensure cost-effective software and service acquisitions.

Key Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Strong experience in ICT asset management, procurement, and contract management.
• Proficiency in IT software and asset management.
• Demonstrated expertise in IT management, finance, procurement, or related fields.
• Experience with ICT Service Management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
• Ability to drive organizational change, manage complex projects, and engage stakeholders effectively.
