Description

The Finance Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing financial transactions related to accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining strong relationships with vendors and customers while implementing and maintaining internal controls and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Accounts Payable:

• Oversee the processing of vendor invoices and payments.
• Ensure timely and accurate payment of all invoices.
• Manage vendor relationships and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Review and approve expense reports.
• Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.

Accounts Receivable:

• Oversee the billing and collection processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate invoicing to customers.
• Monitor accounts receivable ageing and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Resolve customer billing issues and disputes.
• Conduct credit checking of new and existing customers.

Assist Group Finance team with Financial Reporting:

• Assist with the delivery of monthly management reports, including profit and loss and balance sheet reports.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Assist to oversee the month-end closing process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Manage credit card reconciliations and compliance with external reporting requirements.
• Provide financial insights and decision-making support across teams.

Profile

You will be a detail-oriented and hands-on finance professional with a strong background in financial operations and a track record of improving processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable and receivable management, providing full function support.
• Customer service orientation with a demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder expectations.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
