About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced NDIS Finance Manager to join our team to join our team based in Perth Office, reporting to the Managing Director. This position is full-time Mon to Fri 9am to 5pm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, financial management, and a comprehensive understanding of NDIS operations. This role will involve overseeing plan usage, invoicing, payroll, cash flow, and tax obligations, as well as ensuring compliance with NDIS legislation, price guides, and relevant tax laws. Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Oversight: Manage and monitor the usage of NDIS plans, ensuring proper allocation and expenditure of funds.
• Business Analysis: Analyse financial data to identify trends, opportunities for cost savings, and areas for operational improvement.
• NDIS Price Guide Compliance: Ensure services are billed accurately according to the NDIS Price Guide, making adjustments as needed based on changes in the pricing structure.
• Claims Management: Maximise opportunities for claiming under the NDIS, ensuring all eligible claims are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Legislative Compliance: Stay updated on changes in NDIS legislation, plan updates, and relevant policies, ensuring full compliance in all financial processes.
• Tax Obligations Management: Oversee tax-related activities, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations, including GST and other tax requirements specific to NDIS providers. Prepare and submit relevant tax documentation, such as BAS (Business Activity Statements) and PAYG (Pay As You Go) withholding.
• Cash Flow Analysis: Monitor and analyse cash flow to ensure financial sustainability and optimise the balance between income from claims and service costs.
• Invoice and Payroll Approval: Approve invoices and payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and NDIS requirements.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports for senior management, providing insights into the financial health of the organisation and highlighting any areas of concern or opportunities.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in finance management, business analysis, or accounting, ideally within the NDIS sector or a similar compliance-driven environment.
• Strong knowledge of NDIS pricing, claiming procedures, and the relevant legislation.
• Expertise in managing tax obligations, including GST, BAS, PAYG, and understanding of tax laws relevant to NDIS providers.
• Experience in cash flow management, financial reporting, and budget oversight.
• Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel; knowledge of NDIS-related financial tools is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and an ability to ensure full regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to work independently.

Desirable:

• Experience preparing and submitting tax documentation, including BAS and PAYG.
• Familiarity with accounting systems used within the NDIS framework.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage complex financial data and tax obligations.
• Experience on Xero.
