About the role
As a member of the Community and Libraries Youth Development team, the Youth Activity Officer supports the operation of our Youth Centres, as well as related youth programs in Bullsbrook. This position engages directly with young people to:
Promote participation in the Youth Centre and supporting programs,
Incorporate youth input and ownership into program design.
The position is primarily based in Bullsbrook but may also be considered for Ellenbrook, Dayton, or Midland should vacancies arise.
Key duties include, but are not limited to:
Support the implementation and supervision of a range of activities
Engage directly with young people
Promote participation
Work collaboratively within a team
About you
The successful candidate will have the following:
Current Working with Children’s Check or willingness to obtain
Relevant qualification in Youth Work or relevant qualifications (desirable but not essential)
Experience working with young people and supporting youth activities
A satisfactory National Police Certificate
Driver’s Licence desirable

About working with us
The rate for this position will be from $35.38 - $42.30 per hour plus 25% casual loading, depending on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
