Flexihire is currently seeking to appoint a Mechanical T/A to support operations in our Established Cairns branch.

About the role

The main part of the role is to assist the T/Q Fitters with:

• Testing, inspection and repairs on Hire Equipment Fleet
• Assisting Trade Qualified staff with maintenance operations within the workshop
• Decal removal/placement
• Cleaning and detailing of equipment
• Assisting in repairs to our fleet of portable site buildings
• Arranging and collecting parts

Key Skills / Requirements:

• Must have mechanical T/A experience or TQ in similar field
• Good mechanical knowledge
• Great communication skills & team spirit
• A willingness to work and learn on the job
• Willingness to follow instructions and ask for assistance when needed
• Demonstrated punctuality and reliability
• Current drivers licence and own reliable vehicle
• Clean & tidy in both work and presentation

Desirable:

• Forklift licence and EWP ticket would be highly regarded
