The Role
A State Government Agency is seeking an Intake & Assessment Officer on a 3-month contract with a potential to extend to support its Early Resolution & Complaints team. The role involves managing incoming enquiries and complaints, assessing cases, and referring matters to the appropriate teams.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls and enquiries regarding legal service complaints.
- Provide information, guidance, and referrals to consumers and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records and case data in internal systems.
- Assist with case management, reporting, and complaint resolution.
About You
- Experience handling high-volume phone enquiries in a customer service or complaints role.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- A background in government, legal services, or regulatory bodies is highly regarded.
