Coordinate and support work integrated learning and study abroad experiences for students at Charles Darwin University (CDU)
About the Position
As a Work Integrated Learning Officer, you will be responsible for positively contributing to the Faculty of Arts and Society’s Professional Experience and Placements Program to ensure that student placements for required courses as directed are arranged successfully. This will be achieved through creating, developing and managing effective systems and processes as well as enhancing relationships with placement facilities in collaboration with team members and academics.
About You
To be successful, you will require:
- A Degree with subsequent relevant experience or extensive relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant work experience and/or education/training.
- Demonstrated high level digital literacy skill, especially competency in Microsoft Office suite, with particular focus on Microsoft Excel, to evaluate trends and maintain accurate student records.
- Demonstrable ability to conduct effective administration duties to a high level of competence, with attention to detail, and where appropriate maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent oral and written communication and cross-cultural skills and an understanding of the principles of customer service to provide a professional approach to meeting the case management needs of students.
- Ability to operate effectively in a team, contributing positively to team operations, working relationships and workload sharing.
- Demonstrated ability to work, with guidance, to agreed priorities and outputs, manage timelines, and meet required standards.

Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Professional Level 5. The base salary will be in the range of $73,502 - $84,914 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $85,997 - $99,349 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
