We are seeking an experienced Work Management Coordinator to join a high-performing team in a CHPP (Coal Handling and Preparation Plant) operation. This role is crucial in ensuring effective work planning, scheduling, and contractor management, supporting the CHPP Manager in delivering safe and efficient maintenance outcomes.

About the Role As the Work Management Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring maintenance work is planned, scheduled, and executed efficiently. You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining maintenance schedules for CHPP operations to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
  • Coordinating and prioritising planned and corrective maintenance activities in collaboration with site teams and contractors.
  • Managing work orders and ensuring all required resources, permits, and documentation are in place.
  • Liaising with supervisors, trades teams, and contractors to ensure maintenance activities are executed safely and effectively.
  • Driving continuous improvement in planning processes to enhance reliability and reduce costs.
  • Using SAP to manage work orders, track progress, and ensure accurate reporting on maintenance activities.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a Work Management, Planning, or Scheduling role within the mining, heavy industry, or CHPP environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of fixed plant maintenance in a CHPP or similar processing facility.
  • Advanced SAP skills – must be highly proficient in managing work orders, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Experience working closely with contractors, ensuring safe and efficient execution of maintenance tasks.
  • Strong understanding of work management processes, maintenance planning, and scheduling best practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with teams across the site.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement in maintenance planning.

Additional Requirements:

  • Unrestricted Australian working rights
  • Current Drivers licence
  • Reliable transport to and from the Middlemount region
