Aussie Pet Doors is seeking an experienced Business Development Associate (Trade Sales) with extensive expertise in the glass industry to drive our growth strategy and expand our market presence across Victoria. This role is perfect for you if you have a well-established network and a track record of success in the glass and glazing sector.
You’ll leverage your industry connections to sell & promote our high-quality pet doors to glaziers, glazing supply/trade supply & industry professionals, enhancing their projects with our innovative solutions. Your mission will be to ensure that our pet doors are in the hands of every pet door installer across the state, with an impending national rollout at the back end of 2025.
As a Business Development Associate (Trade Sales) at Aussie Pet Doors, you'll have a unique opportunity to work closely with our leadership team to create, design, and implement targeted strategies aimed at acquiring new trade customers. You'll play a key role in structuring sales plans and building strong relationships to drive growth and meet ambitious targets. With the support of a dynamic and innovative team, your efforts will directly contribute to expanding our trade customer base and growing our market presence across the glazing industry.
About You:
- Lead Generation: Proactively source and generate new sales leads for trade customers through research, networking, and outreach, ensuring consistent growth in the customer base and the achievement of sales targets.
- Industry Expertise: Extensive experience within the glass and glazing industry, with a strong existing sales network and proven success in sales.
- Run Run Run: The ideal candidate will hit the ground running, quickly identifying new opportunities, driving sales, and building strong trade customer relationships from day one, ensuring immediate contributions to the company’s growth and success.
- Product Knowledge: Solid understanding of products related to glass and glazing applications in the construction and home improvement sectors.
- Relationship Building: Exceptional ability to build and maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders, including clients, builders, and glazing professionals.
- Detail-oriented: Highly structured with a strong focus on detail and a successful track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Motivated Professional: A self-driven, positive individual who thrives on collaboration and is committed to achieving commercial success.
- Can-do attitude: Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, coupled with strong negotiation skills.
- Ice & Eskimos: The ideal candidate will consistently meet or exceed high-value sales targets, demonstrating a strong ability to drive revenue growth through strategic sales.
- Outcome driven: Skilled in strategic planning, effective time management, and proficient in navigating and utilizing CRM systems.
- Comfortable using technology, CRM software, MS Office products, including Excel and PowerPoint, to design and compile detailed sales reports and data. Ability to create clear, concise weekly progress presentations for the leadership team, ensuring effective communication and decision-making.
