We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth, build relationships, and expand our market share. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable company in the building supplies industry and take the next step in your career.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and grow sales across a well-established portfolio of timber and hardware products.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within the building, construction, and trade sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, contractors, and hardware retailers, ensuring long-term partnerships.
- Provide expert advice on our product range, helping customers find the right solutions for their projects.
- Manage a sales pipeline, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring revenue targets are met.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing to stay ahead of industry developments.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and logistics, to ensure seamless customer service and product delivery.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to expand your reach and industry knowledge.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales or business development within timber, hardware, or building materials.
- Existing relationships within the building, trade, or construction industry are highly desirable.
- A results-driven, self-motivated attitude with the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage a sales territory and build a strong pipeline of opportunities.
- A solid understanding of timber and hardware products and how they are used in the construction industry.
What’s On Offer:
- $90K - $120K Base Salary
