A bit about the role
This role supervises and coordinates maintenance works for roads, drainage, and other assets within the City of Casey, ensuring service providers perform efficiently and safely.
You will also assist in meeting specified policies, service levels, and standards.
What you’ll deliver
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the work group.
- Provide advice to City Presentation leadership team.
- Perform road and drainage maintenance periodic inspections.
- Record and provide information in relation to the operational requirements.
- Respond to emergency situations.
- Ensure audits are carried out within time constraints.
- Respond to customers and members of the public in an effective, efficient and timely manner.
What you’ll bring
- A basic secondary education and a certificate qualification equal to Certificate III in Civil Construction.
- Qualification with proven work skills and relevant experience in construction and or drainage maintenance works are essential
- Proven experience in supervision and leadership of staff.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check, Eligibility to Work check, Psychometric Testing & Functional Assessment (Medical/physio)
