Role Description:
The key role of the venue manager is to oversee and manage the operations, coordination and successful execution of day-to-day operations within Frasers Suites at our East Perth location.
Your key roles will be people management, venue operations, customer service, forward planning, working towards budgets set out by Bailey Brewing Co operations, health and safety compliance, sales, rostering and quality control. The role requires strong organizational leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to coordinate events and handle operational challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations
- Oversee all aspects of venue operations, including presentation and cleanliness.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety
- Liaise with Frasers (the client) to ensure smooth operations
Team Leadership
- Develop and implement staff rosters to ensure adequate coverage
- Recruit, train and manage staff, including event coordinators and customer service personnel.
- Motivate and support the team to deliver exceptional customer service
Customer Service
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and guests
- Address customer enquiries and feedback in a professional and timely manner
- Strive to enhance the overall customer experience
Financial Management
- Managing and adhering to set budgets outlined by the business
- Monitor revenue, expenses and performance metrics for reporting purposes
- Identify opportunities to maximize revenue through upselling
- Roster management to fit within budget
Event Coordination
- Work with clients to execute events such as conferences, weddings and corporate events
- Ensure all event requirements are met, including set up and adequate staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in venue management,
- Exceptional customer service and people management
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays are required
- Regular and effective communication and interpersonal skills
