THE ROLE
As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and nurturing leads across Arkance ANZ’s Autodesk Construction Cloud portfolio. Your role involves working with prospective customers to understand their needs and converting them into Arkance customers. You will focus on acquiring new business, securing competitive wins, and collaborating with sales teams across Australia and New Zealand to grow our client base.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Make 40–50 outbound calls daily to prospective customers.
- Follow up on inbound leads from marketing campaigns, events, and other sources.
- Identify and qualify sales opportunities, ensuring timely outreach within designated SLAs.
- Build strong relationships with prospective and existing customers, positioning Arkance as a trusted technology partner.
- Collaborate closely with internal sales teams and strategic partners to drive business growth.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities in the CRM.
- Stay up to date with technology solutions and industry trends.
- Understand competitive solutions and articulate the value proposition of Arkance’s offerings.
- Participate in ongoing training programs and complete vendor certifications annually.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a driven and results-orientated professional with a passion for sales and technology to join our team. Our ideal candidate will possess the following:
- 1–2 years of experience in sales, telecommunications, software/IT, residential construction or a similar role with high volume cold calling within sales.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage different audiences.
- A high level of confidence in cold calling and prospecting.
- Experience in SaaS sales, technology sales, or the construction sector (highly desirable but not essential).
- Ability to adapt quickly, work independently, and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools to manage leads, track activities, and optimize the sales process.
